CATTLE rustlers have struck in the Ribble Valley, stealing 25 Friesian bullocks worth £15,000 from a farm off Burnley Road, Gisburn, between Sunday and Monday mornings.

All of the 15-month-old bullocks had yellow ear tags to match their passports, and can only be disposed of illegally. Anyone who might have seen a large vehicle and suspicious activity in the area around the time in question is asked to contact police on the non-emergency phone number 101.
