Crooks left a trail of brick dust spilling from a trailer full of building rubble after they stole a £65,000 tractor from a farm at Hellifield Road, Bolton-by-Bowland, early last Wednesday.

They drove through two fields on to the road, and the dust trail led through Gisburn and Chatburn, where they damaged a parked car, to Downham and Newchurch where the trail petered out.

The tractor was a Valtra T131, registered PN10KNX.

Police want anyone with information to contact 101.
