The 19-year-old is in the UK from his home in Australia until September where he is an unpaid overseas amateur for the season at Read Cricket Club.

But he has also taken up a part time role with Read based business Pendle Hill Properties where he is working as a property finder/hunter.

To help with his role the company has sponsored a bike for Bailey who is a student at the University of Western Australia.

He said: "Playing in English conditions is definitely not the same as the Australian conditions.

"It's such a brilliant opportunity - not only to improve my skills but to get some life experience too.

"Not many 19-year olds get the option to travel half way around the world to play sport.

"I am really grateful to Read Cricket Club for taking me on and of course to Pendle Hill Properties for giving me a part-time job and sponsoring my new bike."

Inspired by Bailey, Pendle Hill Properties, which is celebrating 10 years in business, is offering free tickets to the Read v Padiham game this weekend.
