Council workers are pulling out the stops to ensure minimal disruption to services following the Boxing Day floods.
Refuse collection and other key services will continue as normal despite the unsettled weather.
Ribble Valley Borough Council has also provided skips in Whalley and Ribchester for residents to dispose of flood-damaged goods.
The skips have been situated in King Street, Queen Street, Woodfield View and Princess Street in Whalley and Greenside and the Ribchester Arms car park in Ribchester.
Ribble Valley Borough Council chief executive Marshal Scott said: "The floods have been devastating for many of our residents and businesses and we are working with community groups in the clear up operation.
“I would like to thank community groups, volunteers and council staff for their help on the ground in assisting with the recovery operation."
The Government is expected to announce financial aid for residents and businesses affected by the floods and further details will be available shortly.
Ribble Valley may experience further spells of unsettled weather and heavy rain over the coming days and residents are advised to keep abreast of flood warnings.
