Corrinne Black held the fundraiser at The New Inn, Clitheroe, for her husband, Ian.

The very popular and comedy-filled night raised £400 in aid of East Lancashire Hospice.

Corrinne said: “On behalf of myself, Ian and our very lovely horse, we would like to thank Andrea, manager at the pub and all the other staff at the New Inn and to everyone who came to celebrate with us. You made the night very special.”

l The hospice offers a special way of caring for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses throughout Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington and Clitheroe. To care for patients within the community, hospice staff need to raise £3.7m. a year.
