A 44-YEAR-OLD man has been detained under Section Two of the Mental Health Act following an incident at his Clitheroe home yesterday (Thursday).

Clitheroe Police officers accompanied by a support unit and paramedics attended the incident at Howe Croft at around 4-05 p.m. after receiving a “concern for safety” call about the individual.

Howe Croft, which is a cul-de-sac off Highmoor Park, was sealed off and residents advised to stay in their homes while the operation was carried out.
