A VIP Royal Wedding Party held at a Clitheroe bridal boutique on Friday featuring a cake dedicated to the royal wedding couple was filmed for the Channel 4 programme Extreme Cake Makers.
Local cake maker Rose Dummer has made a cake dedicated to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and this is now on display at Kimberley Anne Bridal Boutique in Swan Courtyard for the duration of the royal wedding celebrations.
The cake was revealed at a royal wedding party held at the bridal boutique which was filmed for a special episode of Extreme Cake Makers that is being aired on Sunday at 4-25pm on Channel 4.
Prior to the VIP party, the boutique’s window was decorated with floral displays courtesy of Sam Williams Flowers and there was also "neon love" from the Brides Little Helper. During the party Arthur Geldard also performed in the courtyard and there was cake tasting and Champagne for guests.
A Meghan Markle model was also at the boutique having her hair and make up done in the boutique’s prediction of Meghan style, while Kimberley Anne showcased the dress that she would hope to see Meghan wear on her big day.
Duo Nala and Knot were also in the boutique glamming up the model with a live demo on how to achieve that bridal Meghan look.
The bridal boutique's managing director Kimberly Anne said: "The event was fantastic, we had a turn out of over 50 guests. The cake was lemon and elderflower which was cut by the Mayoress of the Ribble Valley and our Meghan model. The royal wedding cake is going to be on display in the boutique window until the royal wedding."
