Not only did the recent Para Olympic games in Rio showcase the incredible talent, dedication and achievements of the world’s best disabled athletes, but it also highlighted the challenges those with mobility issues experience on a daily basis.Inspired by the games and to ensure all guests can enjoy all areas of the hotel, the Higher Trapp has recently built a new footpath from the main area of the hotel down to the gardens that makes access easier for those with mobility problems.“With a population that is living longer we are noticing that wedding parties are more commonly including guests from all four generations,” explained General Manager, Jamie Proctor, “Inspired by the Rio Paralympics and as an ongoing commitment to improving our guest experience for all we built the path to help our guests enjoy our wonderful gardens.”
