Eighteen readers, under the direction of Margaret Smith, brought to life the Gospel of St Mark and the stories of Ruth and of Joseph. The readings took place in St Mary Magdalene’s Parish Church on Friday and Saturday, June 17th and 18th.

The next Year of the Bible event will also be at St Mary’s on Sunday, July 17th, beginning at 6-30 p.m. Entitled “From Creation to Revelation”, is a journey through the Bible with readings and hymns; an overview of hundreds of pages and thousands of years in an hour! There will be lots of singing and everyone is invited to go along and join in.
