More than 30 delegates attended a “Church Buildings Care and Repair” seminar at St Leonard’s Church, Balderstone, organised as part of its Heritage Lottery Fund Grant programme of activities. The seminar focused on stained glass windows, and speakers included Daniel Burke of Lightworks Stained Glass, Clitheroe, Louise Sutherland from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Manchester, Mike Overton of Overton Architects, Ilkley, and Chris O’Flaherty of the University of Central Lancashire, in addition to John Mather, of Balderstone, the seminar organiser.

St Leonard’s is benefiting from a Heritage Lottery grant to restore its unique Victorian stained glass windows.
