A timetable of Christmas services and events at churches in the Ribble Valley has been announced and the list is as follows:
Clitheroe Community Church, The King’s Centre, Milthorne Avenue (off Henthorn Road).
Saturday, December 12th, 10am to 11-30 am Creative Christmas: families are invited to drop in for craft activities, face painting, refreshments and a Christmas story.
Sunday, December 20th, 10-30am: Traditional Carol Service with carols and Bible readings
7pm Christmas Refreshed: A refreshing look at Christmas with live acoustic music and a short seasonal presentation with mince pies and hot fruit punch.
Christmas Day: 10am to 11am: O Come Let Us Adore Him: celebrating the birth of Christ with carols and a Christmas message.
St. Mary Magdalene’s, Church Street.
Sunday, December 20th: 3-30pm, Nine lessons and carols. Christmas Eve: 5-30 pm, Christingle. 11-30 pm to midnight, Communion. Christmas Day:9-30 am, family communion and children—bring a present to show.
The Salvation Army, Lowergate.
Sunday December 6th: 11 am, toy service. Bring a new toy, a gift, or voucher to the altar. Sunday, December 20th: 6pm, carols by candlelight followed by refreshments. Christmas Day: Christmas dinner with friends 11-30am to 3pm
