Two Whalley residents who have been opening their garden to members of the public for charity the past 10 years have been recognised for their efforts.

Carole Ann and Stephen Powers were presented with an engraved trowel by the Lancashire County Organiser of the National Garden Scheme, Margaret Fletcher, for their hard work and generosity.
