A Clitheroe charity shop is in desperate need of clothing and homeware items to freshen up its stock after recently relocating.
Age UK Lancashire recently moved to new premises in Castle Street and is very popular with locals, helping the charity raise money to fund many of the activities, groups and clubs that enable older people to remain active and involved in the local community.
Shop manager, Sheila Tierney, said: “We have a fantastic variety of items in the shop, but since the move we have struggled with donations as I’m not sure people realise we have now moved and reopened.
“The new shop location means that it is very easy for people to drop off bags and boxes of anything they wish to donate. If anyone is looking to clear out their wardrobe or has any unwanted ornaments, then we would be delighted to receive them.”
