Can you reunite lost teddy in time for Christmas?

Staff at the Royal Blackburn Hospital have launched an appeal to help track down the owner of a lost teddy bear.

The beloved toy, who did not wish to be named, was left behind at the hospital earlier this month and the East Lancashire Hospital’s Communications Team has been searching desperately to identify his owner for the past 10 days.

The light brown bear is anxious to be reunited with its owner, but in the meantime nurses at the hospital are on hand to calm its cuddly nerves with lots of hugs and attention.

Jeanette Livings, communications manager for the Trust, said: “We put out an appeal on our Facebook page which reached over 40,000 people. We had a couple of tip offs which came to nothing and it looks more and more like the bear might not go home for Christmas.”

If you know who the bear belongs to, please leave a message on the www.facebook.com/EastLancashireHospitals Facebook page.
