Moorhouse’s Brewery has added the spellbinding White Witch cask ale to its core portfolio – by popular demand.

Initially a spring seasonal, the moderate strength ale always sold out rapidly and now joins Black Cat, Premier Bitter, Blond Witch, Pride of Pendle and Pendle Witches Brew as the sixth core brand of the celebrated ‘Pendle Witches’ line up.

Moorhouse’s creative brewing team blended Brewers Gold hops with German origin Tettnang variety for the blonde style ale that delivers a “refreshing fruity flavour, with a touch of citrus, flowers and rich peppery spice on the aroma”.

Managing director David Grant said: “White Witch has proved to be such spellbinding ale that we simply have had to keep bringing it back for extended seasons over the past couple of years.

“At the end of our 150th year, and in time for Christmas, it seemed fitting to add it to our core brews. It is wonderfully tasty, well balanced and satisfyingly refreshing beer – really bewitching ale that firmly demonstrates that there is still a healthy demand for easy drinking session brews.”
