Planning application for 30 new homes in Low Moor

AN outline application for the construction of 30 dwellings – with a suggested breakdown of 16 houses with three or four bedrooms, eight low cost houses and six bungalows with two bedrooms – has been submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council.

Comments on the proposal for land adjacent to Greenfield Avenue, Low Moor, Clitheroe (number 0014) must be made to the council by April 26th. Other plans include:

Clitheroe: Change of use from A1 to A2 at 4 Wellgate (0207). Rear dormer to create extra bedroom and bathroom to first floor at 94 Fairfield Drive (0211). New build holiday cottage development at Standen Hey to create two holiday cottages. Demolition of ruined former cart shed and granary, (re-submission) at Standen Hey, Whalley Road (0272). Demolition of existing external stores and erection of one larger external store 22 Shawbridge Street (0293).

Barrow: Refurbishment of restaurant and patio area including associated works to the site, changes to elevations, which include alterations to the roof and extensions along with the removal of one booth at McDonald’s, Ribble Valley Enterprise Park (0286).

Clayton-le-Dale: 10 fascia signs and two projecting/hanging signs at Tiggis (formerly La Scala) Longsight Road (0143).

Gisburn: Formation of a new car park to serve the residents of Sycamore Bungalows, and to allow better access for emergency vehicles, including installation of a new access road and entrance alterations to the main highway on land at rear of bungalows (0247).

Whalley: Single storey extension to the rear of 7 Abbey Fields (0216).
