Plan for Hurst Green log cabin holiday homes

An application to demolish an agricultural building and build two log cabins to be used as holiday lets at land off Shire Lane, leading into the Dene, Hurst Green, has been submitted to planners.

The plans by Mr John Lakeland, of West View, The Dene, Hurst Green, have been submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council.

A statement from J.Pye planning reads: “The agricultural land is not being used to its potential as the applicant currently does not have any livestock therefore the use of the land has become redundant to him.

“The current unused building would be demolished and replaced by two log cabins to be used as holiday lets enhancing the visual appearance of the site and adding to the local need for accommodation for holiday makers.”
