The number of people out of work in the island has risen.
According to statistics released today by the government, there were 42 more jobless people in October than September.
There are 1,064 people registered unemployed in the island.
The unemployment rate is 2.4 per cent.
In October 2012, there were 1,065 people out of work, so there has been a drop of one in the 12 months since.
