Lancashire has been handed a major trade boost with four firms from the county shortlisted in a prestigious awards scheme showcasing the very best in British rural enterprise.
A brewery, a design agency, a drop-in nursing scheme for farmers and a valued community shop are the Lancashire businesses honoured in this year’s Rural Business Awards (RBAs).
Now in their fourth year, the RBAs are the only UK-wide business awards specifically for the rural sector. Sponsored by Amazon, the scheme has been a huge success since it started with the first award ceremony held in 2015. The four shortlisted businesses will now go on to the regional finals to be held at a glittering ceremony on October 9 at Last Drop Village Hotel & Spa in Bolton.
