A FORMER Clitheroe Royal Grammar School (CRGS) pupil has become her own boss by setting up her own vehicle leasing company.

Leanne Capstick (26) always had a keen interest in vehicles as she was growing up in Waddington and at the age of 16 was offered an apprenticeship in a vehicle leasing company where she worked herself up the ladder to become the administration manager.

“Having worked there 10 years and gained substantial experience and knowledge within the motor trade and also the different finance packages available,” Leanne explained, “I decided to better my career and become my own boss by starting my own vehicle leasing company based in Waddington.

“I believe due to the recession and the current economical climate that there is a gap in the market and leasing vehicles rather than buying them is definitely the best option at the moment.

“Money isn’t always readily available and with a lease vehicle you don’t see the depreciation of purchasing a new vehicle from the showroom.”

The new company called MC Leasing is situated between Waddington and West Bradford at Eaves House Farm.
