A PLANNING appeal against the refusal by Ribble Valley Borough Council to allow the construction of 270 houses and a GP surgery on land off Henthorn Road, Clitheroe, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 13th.

The appeal by Gladman Developments Ltd was due to be heard by the Planning Inspectorate in January, but was postponed when the planning inspector due to hear the appeal fell ill.

It will now be heard for approximately four days from Tuesday March 13th in the Ribble Valley Borough Council Chamber in Church Street, Clitheroe. Members of the public can attend the inquiry and, at the inspector’s discretion, express their views.

Documents relating to the appeal can be viewed at the Ribble Valley Borough Council Offices in Church Walk, Clitheroe, by prior arrangement on 01200 425111.
