Food and wine triumphed alongside innovation at the Ribble Valley Business Awards with Whalley Wine Shop and Ultraframe UK taking home the trophy in each category.
In a change to proceedings, the finalists for the coveted Bowland BioEnergy Award were not revealed until the evening itself, and tensions were high as the winner, Ultraframe UK, was announced.
Other finalists in this category were Empress Fencing, Gibbon Bridge Hotel and Restaurant, Kreate Graphics, Ribble FM, Silverwoods Waste Management and Whalley Wine Shop.
Now in its third year, the awards, which celebrate the quality and diversity of business in the Ribble Valley, saw Mytton Fold Hotel at full capacity with local people eager to support the finalists.
Ultraframe UK, based in Clitheroe, scooped the Innovation Award for their world-renowned design of conservatory roof systems.
