A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy was air-lifted to hospital after being in collision with a vehicle in Clitheroe.
The incident happened at Eshton Terrace, near the railway crossing, around 5-30 p.m. on Tuesday and the schoolboy suffered grazing to the legs and a laceration to the head.
Emergency services were called and the boy was flown to Royal Blackburn Hospital by the North West Air Ambulance. A police spokesman confirmed the boy’s injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
The female driver of the 4x4 was unhurt.
