BMWs torched in Brierfield: police investigate
Firefighters were called to Brierfield last night to deal with a “suspicious” vehicle fire.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesman confirmed the incident in Meadow Close around 5-45pm “was started deliberately” and information has now been passed to the police.
He said: “Two cars were on fire, both BMWs. One crew attended from Nelson, and there was no-one injured.
“Breathing apparatus was used.”
