Blooming beautiful Cliviger gardens

The day, which helped to raise money towards the village hall, saw 14 gardens opened to the public.

Committee member Mr Alan Scholes said: “The day was a great success with some beautiful gardens on show and open to the public.

“Visitors and villagers made some lovely comments about the lovely gardens in the village and hopefully picked up a few tips along the way too.

“Everyone enjoyed themselves and refreshments were also served. The money raised will go towards the upkeep of the village hall. People work very hard on their gardens so it’s nice to share them with the public.”
