Rising star Zoe Lincoln has the world at her feet at the tender age of 13 after winning a leading role in an acclaimed ballet.
Zoe was chosen to play the role of one of the Willis, a group of supernatural women, in a production of Giselle at the Preston Guild Hall staged by the English Youth Ballet. She was chosen from 200 young hopefuls from the across the country who audtioned for the roles.
A pupil at Moorland School in Clitheroe, Zoe attends the Moorland International Ballet Academy which is set in the grounds of the e school. Zoe was among eight talented dancers from the Ribble Valley chosen to star in the show but Zoe was the only one to secure a scholarship with the English Youth Ballet.
Lyndsey Kidd, Moorlands Artistic Ballet director and former Northern Ballet Company professional said: “We are so proud of Zoe, this is an incredible achievement for someone of her age.’’
