an employee at Johnson Matthey, in Clitheroe, is busy organising a charity ball to take place this autumn.
Gareth Johnson is organising the event to raise funds for the charity Action Medical Research for Children UK. It is the leading UK-wide medical research charity dedicated to helping babies and children. For almost 60 years it has contributed to some of the most significant medical breakthroughs in recent history, beginning with the polio vaccine which has eradicated new cases of the disease in the UK.
Gareth’s event will take place at The Fence Gate Inn on Friday, September 9th, beginning at 7-30 p.m. A red carpet entrance will welcome guest who will be greeted with a glass of fizz before enjoying a three-course dinner, music, dancing and a raffle.
The dress code is black tie and “posh frocks” and tables are being sold in parties of 10. For tickets, priced at £35 per person, or more information, call Gareth on 01282 770854 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
