Should ‘chuggers’ be banned from our town centres

It seems you can’t go five paces in some of our town and city centres these days without being accosted by a “chugger” - otherwise known as a “charity mugger”!

Full of the joys of spring and after your hard-earned cash, they pounce while you are on your lunchbreak and always when you are in a rush.

Is this the future for charity collections and the only way they can bring in cash or should the practice be outlawed?
