On January 31st, Jenna Downing - an X-Games silver medallist and a 10-time British Champion - popped in to present an assembly at Clitheroe Pendle Primary School on Princess Avenue as part of her Champion Mindset programme in which Jenna uses her "inspiring story of hardship and success to encourage students to cultivate a growth mindset."

After the assembly, Jenna and some children from Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 - well-prepared with safety protection and helmets - took part in a skating taster session. Even Miss Ridgway and Mrs Musgrave got involved in the fun.

“A fantastic day at Pendle Primary today as part of the Champion Mindset programme!" tweeted Jenna. "Even the teachers got on some skates with the children!"
