Blooming nice idea for Burnley florist

Carol Beswick, who opened Florist Lancashire in Burnley Market Hall four years ago, plans to leave four floral gifts at random locations in Burnley on every Saturday throughout October.

Carol is hoping the sweet idea will promote her business and raise a smile with shoppers and visitors.

She said: “I wanted to mark my four years in business which have been very good. I bought the former Brady’s florists four years ago in October and we have since doubled the size of the stall.

“I thought it would be nice to randomly place gifts around town with a little card in. Whoever finds them can keep them or pass them on to a friend as a gift.”
