Two men and a woman were arrested yesterday (Saturday) after police stopped a vehicle in Albert Road and found a quantity of suspected heroin, crack cocaine and weapons.

A spokesman for Colne and West Craven Police said: "Yesterday you may have seen officers dealing with a vehicle and a number of people on Albert Road in Colne.

"We apologise for any road congestions or delays, but you will be pleased to know that officers from the Taskforce have intercepted a vehicle whereby a quantity of suspected heroin crack cocaine and weapons have been located.

"Two males and a female have been arrested.

"We will continue to target people who are involved in the supply of drugs to keep our communities safe."
