Residents are being encouraged to register as blood donors at an upcoming event in Burnley.

NHS Blood and Transplant will be at the Contact Centre in Parker Lane recruiting new blood donors and offering them the opportunity to find out which blood group they are.

The “Know Your Group” event will take place between 10-30am and 2-30pm on Thursday.
