Accidents cause M65 chaos for drivers
Two accidents in the space of an hour caused traffic chaos for drivers on the M65 this morning.
The first, on the motorway itself, occurred just before 7am at the Gannow interchange and involved two vehicles.
There were no injuries but traffic queues quickly built up as a result.
Then at 8am, a second accident occurred on the Accrington easterly bypass, again involving two vehicles and leading to more queues.
