DINNER jackets and walking boots were "de rigueur" for the launch of the Pennine Lancashire Festival of Food and Culture.
Representatives from the six districts of "Pennine Lancashire" donned their dinner jackets and walking boots to take tea on Pendle Hill.
The festival runs until September 18th and was also marked with tethered balloon flights at Huntley's, Samlesbury, which recently opened a new food hall showcasing local produce.
