SINGERS are wanted to take part in Clitheroe's Last Night of the Proms.
This annual concert will take place on Saturday, August 8th, on the bandstand in the Castle grounds.
Clitheroe Town Band will play and members of the Ribble Valley Choir will be singing.
Songs on the programme will include the "Halleluia Chorus" from The Messiah, the theme tune from "The Vicar of Dibley", a chorus from "Les Miserables" and the "Finlandia" chorus.
The Ribble Valley Choir does not meet all year round, but comes together for special events such as the Last Night of the Proms concert.
Many of its regulars also sing with other local groups, but more members are always welcome.
Singers of any ability are invited to join the choir and rehearsals will start from July 26th at Trinity Methodist Church in Parson Lane.
For details contact Steuart Kellington on 01254 24884 or Leon Saberton on 01200 425988.
