SOMETHING completely different for young people is being held in St Mary's Centre, Clitheroe, from August 11th-15th.
Big Picture School of Contemporary Performance is offering a summer school with a difference, with the Rock School giving young people aged eight to 16 the chance to be a rock star for a week. Participants will play guitar, bass or drums as well as spending time with a professional singing teacher and music producer.

For actors and dancers, there will be the chance to learn how to present like your favourite TV stars or dance like the performers in music videos. If music, dancing or acting is not your cup of tea, you can learn stage management, sound engineering or lighting.

Big Picture Rock School runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and ends with a performance for friends and family at 7-30 p.m. on Friday, August 15th.

The cost of the week's activities is £55 per child. Inquiries or booking on 07765771288 or 01282 778886, or book by e-mail on jgfreelancedance@hotmail.co.uk.
