ROCKIN' R 'n' B and soulful acoustic blues are on offer when the Ribble Valley Jazz and Blues Club hosts its latest gig in Clitheroe next Friday.
Six-piece Manchester-based country/rhythm and blues combo The Blues Blasters are sure to get the joint jumping with their foot-stomping style of feelgood blues.

Cooling things down a little will be master of acoustic blues and slide guitar Courtland Bresner, whose playing and vocals pay tribute to the original American blues guitarists.

The gig takes place at the St Michael and St John's Social Centre in Lowergate, Clitheroe, starting at 8 p.m. The venue has a licensed bar and tickets are available in advance from Clitheroe Tourist Information Centre or on the door.

More information on the featured artists can be found at their websites www.bluesblasters.co.uk and www.courtlandbresner.com.
