Advisors in pink will give details about the switchover on November 4th, options for going digital and deal with other inquiries, while information about the Switchover Help Scheme, which allows eligible people to get their set converted, will be available from purple-clad advisors.

Visitors will see demonstrations about retuning and get the chance to meet Digit Al – star of BBC and commercial TV.

Jo Waters, Digital UK's manager for the Granada region, said: "The whole of the Granada region, covering more than seven million viewers, will have switched to digital in six months.

"This is a great opportunity for people to meet the team from Digital UK and find out how to prepare and learn what help is available," she said.
