RINSE out the goldfish bowl – it's that time of year again when you could be the lucky winner of a new family pet!
St Mary's School in Chipping is hosting its annual Parish Summer Fair in the heart of the picturesque Ribble Valley village, opposite St Bartholomew's Church.
Beginning at 1 p.m. this Sunday, it features a host of treats including five-a-side football, a balloon race and organised children's races and games including old favourites such as a sack race and egg catching.
There will be a bouncy castle, a toy train for toddlers, tombola, bric a brac, book and plant stalls, a grand raffle and lucky dip. Visitors can also treat themselves to delicious homemade cream teas and ice cream from Robinson's of Chipping.
Admission to the summer fair is 20p. For more information or to book a five-a-side team, contact Anne Fletcher on 01995 61593 or Mary Hall on 01995 61597.
