BROTHERS of Ribble Valley Circle of the Catenian Association were thrilled to welcome a new member when they met at the Moorcock Inn.
The Catenian Association is a group of Catholic laymen whose mission statement is "strengthening family life through friendship and faith".
Members – known as "brothers" – of the Ribble Valley Circle meet at the Moorcock Inn, Waddington, and are currently celebrating their centenary year.

At their recent meeting, president Peter Kok marked the anniversary by enrolling his son, Paul, into the Circle. Paul's Uncle, Andrew Kok, who is vice-president of Preston and District Circle, was his sponsor.

Paul is following a family tradition started by his late grandfather, Charles Kok, past-president of both Blackburn Circle and Lancashire North Circle.

Inquiries about membership to the Catenian Association can be made to 01254 887350.
