"EPIPHANY" – a group of professional classical musicians from around the country – are to perform "Classics by Candlelight" in Clitheroe.

The group, whose members play regularly with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the Hallé and the Northern Chamber Orchestra, will perform at St James' Church on the evening of Saturday, December 19th.

The concert will include well-known works by Barber, Handel and Vivaldi, as well as Christmas medleys and solo pieces – all in a wonderful setting by the light of a hundred candles.

"This concert is one of those events that has become a 'must do' in my Christmas celebrations," said the Rev. Mark Pickett, rector of St James'.
