With the catchline “We make them, you bake them”, it presents a new concept in readymade cake mixture, made with real kitchen cupboard ingredients. There is no need to add anything else or even find a baking tin to fit, everything is provided so that baking a cake has never been easier.
Although a new venture, Helen is relying on the same tried-and-tested recipe that made Farmhouse Fare’s range of award-winning puddings such a success – using only top-notch ingredients, including free-range eggs, proper patisserie flour and real butter. Half-Baked Cake buyers can simply pop the chilled cake mixture in the oven, wait for the evocative aroma of home baked cake to waft through the house, then cool and decorate with luscious icing supplied. Of course, whether they own up to having Helen’s help wehn serving the delicious “home-made” cake is a matter for their conscience!
