Highly acclaimed vocal group The A Cappella Singers currently has vacancies in three of its sections.

It is seeking to increase the size of the choir and it is a very rare occasion that such vacancies ever exist.

The singers are drawn from the Ribble Valley, Hyndburn and Blackburn areas and there are now vacancies in the soprano, alto and tenor sections. Potential new members must be able to read music and be prepared for a simple a simple audition after they have been to several rehearsals to see if it is for them. The group rehearses in Wilpshire on a Wednesday evening.

The A Cappella Singers perform several concerts throughout the year in various locations and follow the school holiday patterns, taking half-term breaks and school holiday periods.

Anyone who would like to be considered or would like to join can get further information from the group’s chairman David Cockett on 01254 885949 or secretary Lucy Peat on 01254 249280.
