How about a bit o’ busking?

Now in its fourth year, the annual busking competition comes to town on Saturday May 7th as part of the StreetFest meets SheepFest.

Have you got what it takes? Whether it’s singing, playing an instrument, juggling or any other form of street entertainment, you are more than welcome to join in. The competition is open to all age groups and there is a category for under-16s, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

The organisers, Valley Gigs, have made all necessary arrangements with the authorities so all you have to do is go along and entertain the people of Clitheroe for an hour or so. Participants can keep all the money they collect and judges will view all competitors during either the morning or afternoon sessions before deciding on who is the winner.

If you would like to have a go then look on the Valley Gigs website (www.valleygigs.co.uk) for an application form or phone John Parkinson on 01200 424969.
