Waddington and West Bradford CE Primary School held it’s third annual film festival on this term’s topic “Our Local Area”.

After studying local history and geography, the children focused on the habitats and movements of local species and then researched and wrote informative films about their chosen animal.

The festival featured four separate films about eight different British animals, including the mute swan, kingfisher, water vole, otter and weasel.

After conducting their research, the children wrote scripts and then starred in their films, which were premièred to friends and family at the film festival. Alongside the film showings, there was a raffle, refreshments and DVD’s of the films were on sale.
