Have your say

Do you want to learn how to use a tablet or IPad?

Need some help setting up an email address or searching the internet?

AgeUK Lancashire, in partnership with Lancashire Libraries, is hosting drop in sessions for Silver Surfers in local libraries. If you’re over 50 just call in with your gadget, if you have one, between 9-30 to 11-30 am on Tuesdays at Whalley library and the same time on Thursdays at Clitheroe library.

Linda Salazar, services co-ordinator at Age UK Lancashire, said: “We used to offer six week courses, but are finding now that a lot of older people would rather learn how to use a tablet or simply set up an email account or do some research on the internet. “These sessions are free and there’s no need to book, our wonderfully talented volunteers will be on hand to help you out with your query.”
