Three pupils from St James’ CE Primary School, Clitheroe, have been awarded Blue Peter badges.

Hettie (10) was awarded her badge for sending in a poster about the presenters of the programme and Barney the dog, while James (eight) had made a replica gold Blue Peter ship out of hama beads to earn his.

Charles (nine) produced a bird book containing hand drawn images of garden birds.

Both him and Hettie were awarded a “green” badge, which are given to viewers who care about nature and the environment as Hettie also produced a booklet about saving the environment.

The trio also received an ID card which enables each of them to gain free access to all the Blue Peter badge attractions.
