A Lancashire author has chosen to hold his book launch in the village where the novel is set.
“Fell Creatures” is author Barry Durham’s third supernatural crime novel following his debut “The Demdike Legacy” and the subsequent “Familiar Territory”.
The new story revolves around the discovery of the body of a murdered trial runner in the tarn on Beacon Fell Country Park.
Barry said: “I love to write about this part of Lancashire as it’s so full of strange tales and legends that it provides lots of inspiration.
The book launch will take place at Brabins Shop and Gallery in Chipping on Friday August 1st from 1-30 pm. A free tea, coffee or soft drink will be offered to anyone who comes along and Barry will be chatting about and signing copies of his book on the day.
