Jimmy Cricket

The last batch of tickets have been released for the spring concert at Christ Church, Chatburn.

The event will star TV and the Royal Variety Show performer Jimmy Cricket, who brings belly laughter with his hilarious and clean humour.

Jimmy, originally from Northern Ireland, has been a favourite with audiences since he first appeared on TV in programmes such as “Search for a Star” and “The Comedians”. He had his own TV series “And There’s More” named after his best known catchphrase.

Now aged 69, he is still touring regularly and Christ Church was fortunate to be added to his busy schedule.

And there’s more… the three ladies of the Sparkle Sisters will be swinging songs in the Andrews Sisters style; the three men of the Flat Cap Pack will put Lancashire into Las Vegas songs; plus quality music will be performed with youthful eagerness by students of Stonyhurst College.

Tickets are in high demand for this concert and anyone wishing to see it are advised to obtain these soon to avoid disappointment.

Tickets can be obtained from Roy Porter Butchers or by calling 01200 441624 or 01254 384893.

All proceeds will go to the church’s development fund to create disabled and child friendly toilets and a kitchen.
