UPMARKET dining group the Individual Restaurant Company is targetting Clitheroe as the site for one of its latest ventures.
The Manchester-based company is one of the UK's leading restaurant groups, responsible for brands including Piccolino, The Restaurant Bar and Grill, Zinc Bar and Grill and Bank Restaurant and Bar.

According to a business website, the company is planning to open new restaurants in Clitheroe, Harrogate and Aberdeen by the end of 2008, with more planned next year.

A spokesman for the company confirmed it was looking to open an outlet in Clitheroe, hopefully around November. However, he was unable to release details of the location or which brand banner the new restaurant would operate under.

The company's website - www.individualrestaurants.co.uk - states: "The business is going from strength to strength with numerous new additions to the family of restaurants planned for the immediate future."
